Burdene Bulag
Burdene Bulag is a sacred oasis in the East Gobi which features an unusual combination of green grass, sand dunes and mountains. The site is home to the remains of a monastery believed to have been established by Noyon Xutagt Danzanravzhaa, as well as to a simple resort established during the socialist period. The sands and mud at this oasis are believed to possess therapeutic qualities, claimed to be of particular benefit in curing ailments of the kidneys.
