Calling of titles
The melodic calling of titles is directly associated with the rituals of the "three manly sports", which constitute the summit of the official festival celebrations and the arts and culture of the Mongolian people. There are two basic types of titles which belong to this category: wrestler's titles and the titles of racehorses. The calling of wrestlers' titles at the time of a competition has the role of stimulating wrestlers' spirits by raising their courage and strength. The melodic call of the title of the racehorse is even and with a relatively fast, urgent tempo. When the title of the winning racehorse is called out by a fine-voiced caller, the horse throws back its head and demonstrates its pleasure.
